There are many changes that come with aging, but one of the most feared is wrinkled and saggy skin. Fortunately, today there are wonderful choices such as Pellevé™, a non-invasive skin treatment that visibly tightens and smooths the face and neck. This advanced facial rejuvenation treatment helps Vancouver women and men renew their skin with no downtime.

Benefits of Pellevé™

  • smoother skin
  • softening and/or reduction of fine lines and wrinkles
  • tightening of sagging skin (like ‘ironing’ your wrinkles!)

It can be used for the forehead, upper and lower eyelids, under eyes, “crow’s feet,” sagging cheeks and jowls, the wrinkle line between nose and mouth, lines around mouth, sagging skin, wrinkles of the neck, and wrinkles on the chest and décolletage. It is safe for any skin type.

How Pellevé™ Works

Pellevé™ delivers constant, gradual energy to the skin, causing heat to build up where the skin and fat layer come together. The increasing heat modifies the collagen bundles deep inside the skin, causing them to contract and stimulate the growth of new collagen over time. This results in firmer, tighter skin.

What to Expect from Pellevé™

A full facial treatment typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Because no anesthesia is used and any swelling is minor, there is no downtime.

First, a protective gel is applied to the face. Patients say they feel a deep warming sensation when being treated with the Pellevé™ handpiece. No anesthetic is used, so you will act as a guide to describe the depth of the sensation as the handpiece moves across the face or neck.

Mild swelling and redness may occur, but studies have shown that this usually goes away within a few hours to a day.

Pellevé™ is virtually painless and requires no recovery time. It fits easily into busy schedules. Many people see the result immediately after just one treatment, lasting for up to six months as the skin produces new collagen. Additional treatments may also improve results.
