ThermiVa® is a non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation treatment available at Vancouver Laser & Skin Care Centre. This innovative technology uses radio frequency (RF) energy to tighten and rejuvenate the vagina — both inside and outside. Candidates for this treatment include any women who suffer from vaginal dryness, laxity and mild urinary leakage with coughing, otherwise known as urinary stress incontinence.
Benefits of ThermiVa
ThermiVa has been shown in clinical trials to:
Tighten vaginal muscles
Tighten the labia majora
Improve vaginal lubrication
Reduce mild to moderate stress incontinence
Potentially improve sexual function
Women considering surgical options such as labiaplasty or vaginal tightening, or who are bothered by stress urinary incontinence are encouraged to visit our Vancouver centre to find out if they may benefit from treatment with ThermiVa.
How ThermiVa Works
The patented ThermiVa electrode is designed to deliver radio frequency technology to treat the internal and external features of the vagina. The heat tightens the vaginal tissues, both inside and outside without pain.
