Hair Follicle Collection
A trained provider collects approximately 50 healthy follicles from a discreet area of the scalp. The process is completed carefully without surgery, and the collected sample is prepared for secure transport to the laboratory.
Laboratory Analysis
At Acorn Biolabs, the sample is processed to identify and confirm viable regenerative cell populations. This quality review helps determine whether the collected cells are suitable for long term cryogenic preservation.
Cell Cryopreservation
Eligible cells are stored at an ultra low temperature to pause biological activity and preserve their regenerative potential. Your banked cells remain available through Acorn for future eligible applications.
Personalized Secretome Planning
When selected, a portion of your cells is cultured to create a cell free Secretome formulated from your own biology. Vancouver Laser then plans how it may be incorporated into an appropriate skin or scalp treatment.
What is Acorn Biolabs Hair Follicle Stem Cell?
The Acorn Biolabs collects regenerative cells from a small sample of your own hair follicles. After laboratory viability testing, eligible cells are cryogenically preserved for future use. A portion may also be cultured to create a personalized, cell free Secretome containing exosomes, growth factors, cytokines, peptides, and other regenerative signals.
How Does the Treatment Work
Healthy hair follicles are collected and sent to Acorn Biolabs, where regenerative cell populations are identified and preserved. When a personalized Secretome is requested, the cells are cultured in a controlled laboratory environment. The resulting cell free serum may then be incorporated into selected skin or scalp procedures to support cellular communication, renewal, and recovery.
Is the Treatment Safe?
CellFuture™ uses cells collected from your own hair follicles, creating a biologically personalized approach. The collection process is nonsurgical and generally requires little to no recovery time.
Suitability is reviewed before collection, and laboratory viability testing is completed before preservation. Any Secretome treatment is planned separately according to your medical history, concerns, and selected procedure.
